In 2015, rock bands in Romania often turned to their family and friends to help create their music videos, and this one was no exception. Directed by Andi Dumitrescu, it was a true “friendly team” effort :)
For my part, I was responsible for the CGI scenes, handling everything from modeling and kitbashing to look development and rendering. It was both fun and challenging, especially with the creative freedom I had. However, I wasn’t involved in the compositing process, which was managed by another team member.
The exterior shots were filmed at the Monument of Buzludzha in Bulgaria, an abandoned structure with brutalist concrete architecture that kind of looks like a UFO.
