My name is Alexandru Pop

I am a multidisciplinary artist specializing in art direction, CGI and animation, with over 20 years of experience in computer graphics.

I graduated from UAUIM Bucharest, Faculty of Architecture, a six-year program, and worked as an architect until around 2012, when I gradually decided to focus on freelancing in the graphics field.

In 2017, I joined ABIS Studio, one of Romania’s most renowned studios, to gain experience working within a large studio environment. Later, in 2019, I transitioned to Studioset, another well-established studio.

At the end of 2021, I returned to freelancing and collaborated with artist Ioana Mischie on her award-winning projects “Human Violins – Prelude” and “Government of Children 2” serving as both art director, architect and 3D artist.

In 2023, I co-founded Emitter Studio alongside Calin Bogdacenco, Alexandru Doiciu, and Marius Bob. It was quite a ride - I was involved in a variety of projects, ranging from film post-production and advertising to video installations for events. 

In 2025, I returned to being an independent artist, ready to take on new and exciting creative work. If you have an interesting project or idea, I'd love to hear about it!
